Assistant Estimator / Administrator

We specialise in the manufacture of Dry Roofing Products, which we invented, designed and introduced to the market all those years ago. Today we are the largest producer of Dry Roofing Systems, supplying our product range throughout Ireland and the UK under the Kytun® Brand and our Aluminium Rainwater range through the GutterClad® brand.

We are strictly a B2B Company that exclusively supplies our product range through the leading Builders/ Roofers Merchants and large-scale contractors.
We work closely with Building Contractors, Roofers and architects advising them on Technical aspects, product requirements and building regulations relating to roofing.

 

Description

NWA Group are seeking an assistant estimator / administrator to join our team and work alongside our Project Manager to assist within our Estimating & Project Management Department.

Please note that no qualification is required. Some level of experience would be beneficial, but not necessary.

The Role will be mainly office based in our main office at Keenaghan, Kilmacrennan, Co Donegal.

 

Responsibilities

  • To assist our Project Manager in the everyday running of various projects.
  • Quantification of required products in relation to various projects.
  • Estimating & providing quotations to clients via our relevant Sales Representatives.
  • Pricing Bills of Quantities (BOQ’s).
  • Dealing with client queries in relation to quantification and costing of projects.
  • Working alongside our Sales Administrator in setting up sales orders etc.

 

Non-Essential Requirements (Some Level of Experience In The Following Would Be Beneficial

  • Good Microsoft Excel Skills.
  • Some level of previous experience in measurement from drawings / on-site measures etc.
  • Some level of previous experience in estimating / pricing BOQ’s etc.
  • Good computer literacy to include Microsoft Office Package.
  • Good verbal & written communication skills.
  • Ability to set targets and achieve these through the skill of managing a busy workload.
  • Knowledge of Safety, Health & Quality Policies.
